Our Featured Services
Take care of your oral health with general dentistry services and treatments that address tooth decay, misalignment, and a host of other oral health problems. Dr. Ryan Turpin serves patients with a full range of general dentistry services that address a variety of oral health issues, as well as orthodontics for a beautiful smile. Whether you need composite fillings, TMJ treatment, or full mouth reconstruction, we are here to help with custom solutions that get results.
Severely decayed, damaged, or infected teeth may need to be removed with a surgical or simple tooth extraction procedure. We perform tooth extractions in our office under local or general anesthesia. Extractions are only necessary when no other treatment will save the teeth.
A bite adjustment may be necessary if you are experiencing TMJ symptoms, tooth pain, neck aches, and other issues. Dr. Turpin can perform a bite adjustment to ensure the teeth are coming together properly. Signs that your bite may be off include popping or clicking of the jaw, fractured teeth, or jaw pain. Bite adjustments may also be part of your orthodontics treatment plan.
Pediatric care is about prevention, and we offer a number of specialty services specifically for children. We can keep your child’s teeth healthy with sealants, fluoride treatments, and by fabricating an athletic mouth guard, if necessary.
Avoid costly and stressful dental procedures with preventative services. We can help you establish a good oral care regimen that includes brushing the teeth and tongue at least twice daily, flossing regularly, and using mouthwash. Regular check-ups and cleanings also help to prevent future oral complications.
If a tooth has been knocked out, it can often still be saved. Dr. Turpin may perform a tooth reimplantation or tooth transplant procedure to save your natural tooth, as long as the original tooth has been preserved properly.
If you have significant tooth damage, missing teeth, bone loss, and issues with the bite, you may need to undergo a series of procedures to restore the health and function of your smile. Full mouth regeneration, or a smile makeover, may include a series of procedures such as permanent restorations, orthognathic surgery, crown lengthening, dental implants, bone and soft tissue grafting, and orthodontics.
If you are tired of living with chronic pain because of TMJ problems, talk to Dr. Turpin about treatment plans that may include fitting you with a nightguard to reduce tension in the jaw. TMJ symptoms such as chronic headaches, upper shoulder pain, and tooth pain can be debilitating and should not be ignored. We can put together a TMJ treatment plan that will reduce symptoms and improve your quality of life.
Pain and discomfort caused by erupted or impacted wisdom teeth can be corrected with a tooth extraction procedure. Having your wisdom teeth removed will not only eliminate discomfort, but can also prevent other oral health issues in the future, including infection of the gums, tooth decay, and bite problems.
If you have a habit of grinding your teeth, you may be wearing down your teeth or increasing the risk of tooth fractures and TMJ problems. We can address bruxism by fitting you with a nightguard. Dr. Turpin may also recommend some lifestyle changes that will help you break the habit of grinding your teeth.
If no other treatment options have been effective for managing periodontal disease, we may perform a gingivectomy to remove and reshape loose gum tissue. This procedure also helps to eliminate a “gummy” smile. A gingivectomy is performed under local anesthesia and involves a short healing time.
We understand that accidents happen, but immediate dental care can help to save your teeth. If you have a severe toothache, a broken tooth, or a tooth that has been knocked out of its socket, call our office for an emergency appointment. We will do whatever we can to accommodate for emergency cases.
